Basically Method Man is like …
“roll that sh*t, light that sh*t, smoke it” Nah-mean?
The Panty Raider, Ticallion Stallion, Hott Nikkels, Johnny Blaze, Method Man has given us some of the most memorable rhymes, interviews ever since he unintentionally stole the limelight from his fellow Wu cohorts on their ’93 universally revered debut Enter The Wu-Tang. In the mid 90’s if you asked any Wu-Tang devotees who their favorite member was, most would say Meth. Iron Lung gave us two solid albums namely Tical and Tical 2000: Judgment Day. Oh yeah and who could forget Blackout, a solid collaboration with fellow weed enthusiast Reggie Noble. Nevertheless with the sad state of hip hop Meth got lost in the shuffle that promotes garbage over substance case in point … “Watch Me Crank Dat Soulja Boy/Then Super Man Dat Hoe” Nevertheless, while kicking with my peoples at 11 Broadway, my man MC was quick to point out that Method Man always delivers but when he hops on a track with another artist he steals the show except for when he is on a track with Redman; don’t believe check Y.O.U. To demonstrate the fact that he makes a track his own during collaborations I have included a video with the Inc. deserter, Ashanti (Quick to dip when sh*t hit the fan, Ashanti can you spell loyalty?). This video features Paul Wall and Method Man. No disrespect to Paul but he could never walk in the pair of Airs that Meth might wear…check the video Still On It…don’t get me wrong I don’t really like the song, it just illuminates the fact.
