advanced warfighter
Usually when I travel I pick up a game or two to play during my visit. During my college years there was a big first person shooter craze in the dorms and at first didn’t understand why. Eventually I was introduced to the Tom Clancy series and it all started to make sense. I usually pick up games from the Rainbow Six series but I’ve been hearing so much good news about the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 that I decided to pick it up myself (plus it was only 20 bucks so you can’t go wrong) and test it out. After 5 hours of continuous play all I gotta say is… “hhmm… not bad all”
A true Tom Clancy fan would probably say GRAW2 could’ve been better but since I’m not… I think this game is off the chain! As soon as you start playing, you’ll notice that the AI is more advanced than your normal shooter game. They’ve also added a nice new feature that let’s you sprint into/out of danger. In my opinion the game is pretty competitive and fun during co-op campaign mode.
A few downfalls are the controls. The sprint feature was a great idea but it will mess you up during sniper mode. While aiming at a target you may press on the control too hard + foward and start running towards your enemy carelessly.
Overall I give this game a 4 out of 5.
